Mining

We have a specialized mining law practice and advise Chilean and foreign companies on legal matters arising throughout the mining lifecycle, including exploration, project development and mine closure. In this context, we advise our clients on the negotiation of financing agreements, joint ventures and agreements with the State and surface landowners. We also provide legal counsel in proceedings for the granting of mining concessions, the procurement of administrative permits and environmental approvals, the creation of mining easements, opposition proceedings, and actions involving the forfeiture or nullity of mining concessions, among other matters related to the industry.
